Dimethyl 2,6-dimethyl-4-phenylpyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate
In the title compound, C(17)H(17)NO(4), the dihedral angle between the benzene and pyridine rings is 75.51 (4)°. The benzene and pyridine rings are both approximately planar (r.m.s. deviations of 0.0040 and 0.0083 Å, respectively), indicating that the pyridine N atom is not protonated. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O and C-H⋯N inter-actions.

In the crystal of the title compound, C(11)H(15)NO(4), the mol-ecules are linked into sheets by N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Within the mol-ecule, the 1,4-dihydro-pyridine ring exhibits a distinctive planar conformation [r.m.s. deviation from the mean plane of 0.009 (3)Å], and the other non-H atoms are almost coplanar [r.m.s. deviation = 0.021 (3) Å] with the 1,4-dihydro-pyridine ring. The c...
متن کاملRole of covalent bond formation in morphology and properties of PP/PP-g-PS binary blends
PP-g-PS copolymer is a typical compatilizer used in polypropylene and polystyrene immiscible blends. PP-g-PS copolymers with different side chain lengths were synthesized, and their thermal and mechanical properties were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarizing optical microscopy (POM) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), respectively. The DSC and POM results show ...
متن کاملpp - waves
We obtain the pp-waves of D = 5 and D = 4 gauged supergravities supported by U (1) 3 and U (1) 4 gauged field strengths respectively. We show that generically these solutions preserve 1/4 of the supersymmetry, but supernumerary supersymmetry can arise for appropriately constrained harmonic functions associated with the pp-waves. In particular it implies that the solutions are independent of the...
